I went in with an iPad that’s been unusable for years, having tried to get it fixed at other places before who’d quote £200+ telling me it was an issue with the charging port. Within 2 minutes of walking in Bossman told me it was a software issue that could be sorted for £25 in under two hours. And two hours later I walked away with my previously unusable iPad like it was brand new and I was £175 better off for it.

I found TechLab after dropping my iPhone in water. Remon got back to me quickly with a clear explanation and an approximate quote. I dropped the phone off and he had it repaired within 24 hours, all for a very reasonable price. Great service and communication – I’d definitely recommend them.

I've used Tech Lab twice now as the man Remon; who owns and repairs everything, is very knowledgeable and helpful. I took my iPhone there first to get checked out thoroughly (as it got hacked - my own fault sadly) and then I took my faithful Mac there for a full upgrade (hardware and software) as it had become very slow and up to its limits over the 6 years I've had it. I fully trust Remon with my IT gear and if I have IT questions or problems to unravel etc, he is very helpful. He also charges a fair price and he had my Mac ready in a few days as I was lost without it! I will be taking my iPad to him next for some TLC, as its memory is full etc. Remon also sells new small parts and accessories etc and also some upgraded laptops etc so it's worth a look around in there or worth phoning him to see if he has something in stock. Parking is relatively easy if you check the roads out near-by on Google Maps. Plus if you have something difficult to carry you can quickly park at the end of the bus stop outside. I have no problem fully recommending Remon and Tech Lab. See you again soon Remon re IT. 🙂

The iPad was not charging. Two local companies said it was a battery issue so I booked it into iSmash for a replacement. iSmash could not fix it telling me there was a logic board issue.
So I contacted Tech Lab having found them on Google explaining the problem and if they thought it was something they could repair. They responded immediately. I booked the repair via their website selecting the fast track repair option which included Royal Mail Tracked 24 shipping both ways.
It was repaired and posted back the same day Tech Lab received it. They got it on Tuesday, diagnosed a faulty charging port which they replaced with a genuine Apple part. I received it back on Wednesday the following day.
They kept me informed throughout the whole process. Very professional and genuinely impressive.
