Turned out to be a shorted capacitor and two blown power mosfet devices on the motherboard. New motherboard price from shop #1 was £1600 and shop #2 wanted to sell me a new laptop for over 2k. So very happy with the 50 diagnostic fee and £200 for the fix. Also very fast service and kept me updated frequently , 5 🌟
