Apple often quotes £750-£1250 as a flat rate to “fix everything.” They fit you into a specific repair tier regardless of your issue, often charging an exorbitant amount of money even if you have a simple problem. We can often fix the problem for less than half their price. Our approach is to figure out your specific, unique problem, and charge you for repairing that only.

I went in with an iPad that’s been unusable for years, having tried to get it fixed at other places before who’d quote £200+ telling me it was an issue with the charging port. Within 2 minutes of walking in Bossman told me it was a software issue that could be sorted for £25 in under two hours. And two hours later I walked away with my previously unusable iPad like it was brand new and I was £175 better off for it.

I've used Tech Lab twice now as the man Remon; who owns and repairs everything, is very knowledgeable and helpful. I took my iPhone there first to get checked out thoroughly (as it got hacked - my own fault sadly) and then I took my faithful Mac there for a full upgrade (hardware and software) as it had become very slow and up to its limits over the 6 years I've had it. I fully trust Remon with my IT gear and if I have IT questions or problems to unravel etc, he is very helpful. He also charges a fair price and he had my Mac ready in a few days as I was lost without it! I will be taking my iPad to him next for some TLC, as its memory is full etc. Remon also sells new small parts and accessories etc and also some upgraded laptops etc so it's worth a look around in there or worth phoning him to see if he has something in stock. Parking is relatively easy if you check the roads out near-by on Google Maps. Plus if you have something difficult to carry you can quickly park at the end of the bus stop outside.
